![]() ![]() Once you find a server with the AQ gates closed you have two options: You must do the quest chain completing the final step, Bang a Gong!, on a server which has not yet opened the AQ gates. It is still possible to attain the Scarab Lord title and the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal now. However, if a new realm is created with transfers unavailable then the gates will be closed making this achievable on that specific realm. Shortly after the quest is turned in by the first person, the title and mount are no longer attainable on that realm.Īll of the original realms have already opened the gates along with new realms which are created with transfers available, making this unachievable on them. This mount, along with the Scarab Lord title, was a reward for doing a long quest chain prior to The Burning Crusade to open the gates to the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. Get your Raidleaders one of these Mounts.Comment by JoroesanEdit: This post is still here for nostalgic reasons, however it is no longer possible to attain this mount as new servers are now created with the gates closed regardless of whether transfers are open on them or not. So although you just zoned in and want to make a corpse run, if anyone engages a boss in there the Mount will drop you and you're going on by foot. But never forget that you will dismount the second you are engaged in Combat. These battle tanks are quite funny, and the only way to get somewhere fast in AQ40 when you go underground. Guess it's only a rumor (there would be some use effect on the Item I guess) But outside I guess you could spend a while and farm those Mounts.īy the way, Rumors say that if you own all 4 colors of these Resonating Crystals you can get a Mount that is rideable outside Ahn' Quiraj. ![]() They seem to decrease their drop rate then in the Temple itself when you go underground. Comment by AllakhazamThese Mounts drop off the first Trashmobs before Prophet Skeram like there is no tomorrow. ![]()
